NetSuite is Oracle's cloud ERP. It handles general ledger, AR/AP, inventory, manufacturing, fulfilment and a long list of operational subsystems for businesses too large for QuickBooks and too varied for a vertical-specific system. SuiteScript and SuiteTalk let developers extend almost any record type, and the API surface is comprehensive at the cost of being intricate.
Patchworks integrates NetSuite via its REST and SuiteTalk APIs. Process flows typically push sales orders in from the storefront, write fulfilments back from the warehouse, and reconcile inventory in either direction. The complexity is usually in record-type choice · when to use a sales order versus a cash sale, when to use a credit memo versus a customer refund, and how to model item pricing without breaking the SuiteQL queries finance relies on.
