Fluent Commerce is a distributed order management platform, designed for retailers running omnichannel fulfilment with stores, warehouses and dropship suppliers all participating in fulfilling the same order. Sourcing rules, allocation, splits and routing are first-class.
Patchworks integrates Fluent for order ingestion from ecommerce and marketplace channels, sourcing-decision feedback to the customer experience layer, fulfilment-status updates from WMS systems and back-flow into the ERP. The design effort is in the sourcing rules · which node fulfils which order · and the visibility of those decisions to the operations team.
